Why this is being asked

Library visitor counts peak between 4pm and 7pm, when the building is already near capacity. Staffing a later evening would require trading hours elsewhere in the week.

What will be done with the result

The result informed the library’s winter rota, which now runs to 8pm on weekdays and closes at 2pm on Saturdays. Visitor counts under the new rota are published quarterly.
